AdventHealth Waterman has partnered with Mothers’ Milk Bank of Florida to become the first North Lake County Milk Depot location. The Milk Depot serves as a safe, controlled collection point where women can donate their breast milk for premature and at-risk infants in need. We make it easy for moms to help other moms provide vitally important nutrients to their babies who are struggling to survive.
How It Works
1) Call 407-248-5050 for a short interview with the Mothers’ Milk Bank of Florida.
2) Complete a secure online health questionnaire.
3) Complete a free blood test.
4) Bring your frozen donor milk to the Milk Depot at AdventHealth Waterman for shipment to the Mothers’ Milk Bank of Florida. Call 352-253-3054 and a Center for Women and Children employee will meet you downstairs at the front entrance of the Emergency Department for pick up. The Milk Depot is open 24/7.
