Here are 6 ways you can find your family fun in Lake County to celebrate Independence Day:


Freedom on the Waterfront

5-9PM, July 3

Downtown Mount Dora

The City of Mount Dora's annual Freedom on the Waterfront on 

July 3rd! Come celebrate our nation's Independence at Elizabeth Evans Park in Mount Dora. Plenty of space to bring blankets, chairs and coolers. Enjoy food, drink, vendors and at 9 p.m. a spectacular firework display over the water set to patriotic music. This event is FREE and family friendly! Live music on the stage!


City of Mount Dora 4th of July Parade

10AM, July 4

Downtown Mount Dora

The parade will kick off at 10 a.m. starting at 7th Avenue and Donnelly Street. Arrive early to grab a curbside spot into downtown Mount Dora. The parade will end at Donnelly and Charles Streets. 
Expect Donnelly Street to be closed early for the parade route. 


4th of July Tavares Celebration

City of Clermont’s annual Red, White & Boom

6-10PM, July 4

Clermont Waterfront Park

This FREE family event is packed with fun for everyone. Local celebrity Kayslin Victoria, a Top 24 singer on Season 16’s “The Voice,” will lead off with the National Anthem at the Highlander Pavilion. A fireworks show will top off the evening at 9:15 pm over Lake Minneola.


The City of Leesburg’s 4th of July Celebration

5:30-10PM, July 4

Leesburg Venetian Gardens

Bring your family and friends and enjoy a spectacular, FREE & fun-filled 4th of July celebration at The Lakefront (Venetian Gardens). The festivities officially kick off at 6pm, but the opening ceremony at the Lightning Baseball Game starts at 5:30pm.

Fabulous entertainment begins at 6pm on the Jenkins Auto Group Stage with Nathan Leslie followed by a concert at 7pm by The Wildflowers, America’s best Tom Petty tribute band!

At 7:30 catch an amazing water ski show followed by the Largest Fireworks display in Lake County at 9:15pm. It’s great viewing from all around Venetian Cove or from your own boat at the Boat Tailgate Party located between Monkey Island and the boat ramp at Venetian Cove Marina.


July 5th Eustis Hometown Celebration

5-9:30PM, July 5

Downtown Eustis

The City of Eustis will host its 2019 Independence Day Hometown Celebration on Friday, July 5th in Ferran Park. The free, family-friendly event runs from 5:00 - 9:30 PM and includes live music from NBC's The Voice contestant Kaleb Lee, the Central Florida Show Ski Team IncTriangle Wrestling Club, vendors, food, a FREE kid zone and a spectacular fireworks finale over Lake Eustis at 9:30 PM.
