Pancakes and Sausage on a Stick by Jimmy Dean have been a back to school hit with my family. The box of Jimmy Dean Pancakes and Sausage on a stick caught my son's eye as we were walking through the frozen food section at Walmart a few weeks ago. He asked if he could try the blueberry flavor. I am always on the search for a new quick and easy breakfast for busy school mornings, so I allowed him to grab a box.
As soon as we got home, he put the product to the test. The meal prep was quick and easy. My son's Blueberry Pancake and Sausage on Stick went from the freezer to my son's mouth in under 1 minute. If that isn't quick, then I don't know what is. My son said the flavor was delicious! After my son gave glowing reviews, I decided to try it myself. I was impressed with how flavorful the pancake is and how great it compliments the sausage.
The week after my son first tried the Jimmy Dean Pancakes and Sausage on a Stick, we had the opportunity to serve the product at our Macaroni Kid Back to School Party. The kids at the party sampled blueberry and original flavored pancakes. Both flavors jumped off the platter as quickly as I could prepare them. Many of the moms liked that each pancake and sausage on a stick is packed with 6 grams of protein. The kids and moms both decided they were a hit! I'm sure a lot of the families that attended the party now have their freezer stocked for back to school breakfasts.
